Resort in the City

Residential

It is hard to imagine, looking at the before and after photos, but this is the same home!  When we had our first glimpse of this project, there was an existing pool already with a safety fence enclosing it. This effectively closed off the rest of the yard from the pool area, as well as views of the coulee beyond. Our scope of work included a new pool in the same place as the original one, a pool cover to eliminate the need for the obtrusive fence, relocating the shed to open up more views, and terracing the lot with wide open curved steps. This gave both top and bottom areas a flatter section of land for the pool and play equipment. The lawn sweeping down the side of the lot remained sloped for barrier-free access and drainage. Healthy plant material along this fence line was retained for privacy and some shade.
